A beginners' ski area is located on the other side of the main road from the village at the base of the Hochsöll gondola. Fit skiers - or those staying in the accommodation in that part of the village - may want to walk to the bottom of the lifts but most will take the easy skibus the short journey up to the gondola base station which leads to the intermediate slopes of Hochsöll. Söll has an excellent location for those arriving by air or car. Innsbruck, Munich and Salzburg are all easily accessed, and the main Inn valley motorway...

The Witches' Water is a theme park at the middle station of the cable car at Söll in Tyrol, Austria. The central part is a water park consisting of ponds and rivulets where children can play a variety of water games. It extends over an area of about 500 meters and is complemented by various alpine restaurants, playgrounds and a petting zoo. There are some themed trails in the surrounding area, for instance a witches' trail tracing past legends; a panoramic trail in front of the Tyrolese limestone alps; or a mile's barefoot hiking trail featuring opportunities for different kinds of sensory experience. Guests can also visit a dairy, a distillery or experience apiculture. They can also hike to the panorama restaurant at the top of the mountain.
The Hohe Salve is a well-known mountain located between Kufstein, Wörgl and Kitzbühel in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is part of the Kitzbühel Alps and is also nicknamed the Rigi of the Tyrol. Its summit is 1,828 m above sea level high, and in fine weather has a good view of the High Tauern and Zillertal Alps, as well as the Wilder Kaiser, which lies immediately to the north of the Hohe Salve. From the top the Großglockner and Großvenediger can also be made out.
Hintersteiner See is a mountain lake in the Wilder Kaiser Austrian national park and belongs to the administrative region of Scheffau in the Austrian federal state of Tirol. The 56 hectares, 36-metre-deep lake was created during the last ice age and is at a height of 883 m AA. Underground springs fill the lake with crystal-clear water. Hintersteiner See is privately owned by the Tiroler Wasserkraft AG and is cautiously used to generate electricity. It drains into the Weißache river. There is a public bathing beach on the lake.
