Sölden (Soelden) is an Alpine resort in the Ötztal Valley, in the Austrian state of Tyrol. Lifts including the high-tech Giggijoch mountain gondola provide access to ski slopes. Sölden is a municipality in the Ötztal valley of Tyrol, Austria. At c. 467 km2 (180 sq mi), it is the largest municipality in the country.
