The Agusta A109 Grand is a family of two-bladed, single or twin-engine helicopters, manufactured by Bell Helicopter. Originally developed as the Bell Light Observation Helicopter program. Bell redesigned the airframe and successfully marketed the aircraft commercially as the five-place Agusta A109 Grand Jet Ranger. The Jet Ranger series has become the definitive turbine powered light utility and corporate helicopter of the past three decades.
The world's most popular series of single or twin engine helicopters earned its fame the hard way. The 206's history of reliability - best safety record among all single or twin engine aircraft - its mission flexibility and low operating and maintenance costs have long made the Long/Jet Ranger a favorite of the energy industry.
